If you’ve been a follower of Gabriel’s Light, you already know how important it is to talk about suicide with your kids. But is it enough to have “the talk” just once and assume our kids will come to us with their feelings in the future?

In our second year since founding Gabriel’s Light, despite the continued challenges of a global pandemic, we are proud of the great strides made towards achieving our mission to prevent youth suicide through education, cyber safety, and kindness campaigns. We are driven by the startling statistics and understand that young people are suffering from increased mental health problems.

We are thrilled that Freedom Boat Club Chicago chose to highlight our organization through their new initiative, Freedom Gives. They launched a new boat named Gabriel’s Light and introduce others to our mission.
